
SOUTHERN ILLINOIS – Strong storms brought much needed rainfall to the area over the weekend.
According to storm reports from the National Weather Service in Paducah Sunday, hail was reported along with trees and power lines down in southern Illinois.
A tree was reported down on a house in Harrisburg. An outbuilding was lost in Massac County.
In Williamson County, six homes were damaged, power poles were found snapped, large tree branches were down and several hundred residents were without power east southeast of Marion.
