WHITEASH – The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office says a man was arrested after a drug house was shut down in Whiteash Thursday morning.

Around 11:50 a.m., the sheriff’s office Special Response Team carried out a search warrant at 213 Sanders Ave. in Whiteash. The home was the subject of a multi-state narcotics distribution operation which has been the target of a ten month investigation.

Agents conducting a search of the home found 5.84 pounds of methamphetamine, a A CAI Georgia VT .45 CAL handgun, drug packaging materials, over $30,500 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.

Randall C. Atkinson was cited for Methamphetamine Delivery, Methamphetamine Possession, Possession of Weapon by a Felon, Possession of Cannabis, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Atkinson was taken to the Williamson County Jail.
