CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police reported Monday afternoon that a missing Herrin woman was found in a nearby community and is safe and in good health.

Police say 60-year-old Belinda Wicks of Herrin was last seen Wednesday in the 400 block of West Jackson Street in Carbondale. She was reported missing Friday.

Police say Wicks suffers from a condition that puts her in danger.
