CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police have released more information about a crash involving a car and a motorcycle that happened in the 600 block of North Giant City Road around 3:45 Wednesday afternoon.

When police arrived at the scene, they found that the driver of the motorcycle suffered injuries as a result of the crash and immediately began life saving measures. The motorcycle driver was transported by ambulance to the Memorial Hospital of Carbondale for treatment. No other injuries were reported.

No additional details of the crash are being released at this time. The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
