BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office released the following information on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

5-20-24 Cassie N. Cook, age 24, of Royalton was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield at an intersection.

5-21-24 Heather J. Poole, age 32, of Hawesville, KY, was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-21-24 Ryan L. Sieveking, age 46, of Thompsonville was arrested for driving while license revoked.

5-22-24 Sorin R. Stan, age 21, of San Antonio, TX, was issued a citation for failure to wear a seat belt.

5-22-24 Alan M. Cain, age 31, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for failure to wear a seat belt.

5-22-24 Laura C. Huff, age 40, of Benton was arrested for resisting a Peace Officer and a Jackson County failure to appear warrant for possession of a stolen vehicle.

5-22-24 Steven W. Eldridge, age 29, of Murphysboro was arrested for domestic battery.

5-24-24 Scott E. Dunbar, age 63, of Benton was arrested for driving while license revoked.

5-25-24 Troy E. Downs, age 60, of Steeleville, IL, was arrested for unlawful presence of a child sex offender in a public park.

5-25-24 Sierra R. Keltner, age 28, of Benton was issued traffic citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

5-26-24 Taylor M. Gonzales, age 24, of Colorado Springs, CO, was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery.

5-26-24 Michelle A. Fisher, age 43, of Colorado Springs, CO, was arrested for domestic battery.

5-26-24 Rebecca A. Fisher, age 21, of Colorado Springs, CO, was arrested for domestic battery.

5-27-24 Chad G. Johnson, age 46, of Marion was issued traffic citations for speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

5-27-24 Sherry L. Price, age 45, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

5-22-24 Brandi J. Pierce, age 43, of Broughton, IL. Failure to appear for driving while license suspended.

5-22-24 Melissa M. Hayes, age 40, of Benton. Failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine.

5-22-24 Nicole A. Wujek, age 28, of Zeigler. Possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance.

5-23-24 Christian P. Volkman, age 21, of Christopher. Failure to appear for driving while license suspended.

5-23-24 Dennis L. Uhls, age 63, of Clearwater, FL. Failure to appear for violation of an order of protection.

5-27-24 Gary J. Dunning, age 42, of Marion. Theft

5-27-24 Dexter S. Kubitz, age 32, of Johnston City. Theft, burglary and criminal damage to property.
