BENTON – The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office released the following information on Monday, Oct. 16, 2023.

10-10-23 David L. Williams Jr., age 32, of West Frankfort was issued traffic citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding.

10-10-23 Jesse L. Borrego, age 26, of Spring Grove, IL was issued a traffic citation for having a suspended registration.

10-11-23 Gregory J. Harris, age 52, of Christopher was issued a traffic citation for no valid driver’s license.

10-12-23 Codie E. Vickers, age 52, of Royalton was arrested for aggravated assault and violation of a stalking no contact order.

10-13-23 Patrick L. Gurley, age 66, of Sesser was arrested for obstructing a Peace Officer. Gurley also had a Franklin County warrant for violation of an order of protection.

10-13-23 Lucas D. Erwin, age 33, of Benton was issued a traffic citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

10-15-23 Mark A. Montgomery, age 54, of Sesser was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

10-15-23 Joel J. Vancil, age 29, of Du Quoin was issued a traffic citation for speeding.

10-15-23 Tina K. Tucker, age 60, of Christopher was issued a traffic citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

10-15-23 Miguel A. Rios, age 44, of Macedonia was arrested for aggravated domestic battery and domestic battery.

WARRANT ARRESTS

10-10-23 Thomas E. Biggs, age 37, of Benton. Failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine.

10-12-23 Misty D. Shalabi, age 42, of West Frankfort. Failure to appear for no valid driver’s license.

The public is reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
