CARMI – The following information was released by the Carmi Police Department on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

Forty-three-year-old Angela G. Goff of Princeton, IN was arrested at a traffic stop at Banterra Bank on Main Street at 8:20 Monday night for Driving while License Suspended and Possession of Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle by Driver. Goff was taken to the White County Jail. Her bond was set at $250. Goff bonded out at 10:20 p.m.

Twenty-eight-year-old Billie Jean Voliva of Carmi was also arrested at the traffic stop on a Washington County warrant for a traffic violation. Voliva was also arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of Property and Possession of Cannabis in Motor Vehicle by Passenger. Voliva is being held in the White County Jail. Her bond is set at $250.
