ELDORADO – The Eldorado Fire Department is mourning the loss of Fire Chief Mike McKinnies.

According to the fire department, Chief McKinnies devoted more than three decades to the fire department serving as Fire Chief for over 31 years.

Under his leadership, the department grew stronger, more professional, and better equipped to protect the people of Eldorado.

Chief McKinnies also served on the Saline County board for 13 years.
