HARRISBURG – Heaven’s Kitchen will hold two free upcoming holiday events that will be open to any family, regardless of where they live.
Organizers say these events aim to bring joy, support, and holiday cheer to children and families across Southern Illinois.
A free breakfast with Santa and gift for every child will be held Saturday, from 9 to 11 a.m., at New Hope Christian Academy on North Commercial in Harrisburg.
Families are invited to enjoy a delicious breakfast, visit with Santa and participate in a magical Christmas experience. Every child who attends will receive a gift from Santa’s Workshop thanks to generous community donors. No registration is required and is open to any child.
A free drive-through Christmas dinner giveaway will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at Heaven’s Kitchen on Seright Street in Harrisburg.
Lineup begins at 5 p.m. with the giveaway running from 5 to 6 p.m. while supplies last.
A holiday meal package, complete with a ham and traditional Christmas fixings, will be provided at no cost. This will be a drive-through distribution open to anyone in need.
