HARRISBURG, Ill. (March 31, 2026) – Southeastern Illinois College will host its annual Job Fair on Wednesday, April 8, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Joseph Deaton Gymnasium on the Harrisburg campus, bringing together dozens of employers from across the region.
The free event is open to students, recent graduates, and community members seeking full-time, part-time, or career-change opportunities. Attendees will have the chance to meet with employers, explore career paths, and make valuable connections.
“This event is one of the most effective ways for local employers and job seekers to connect face-to-face,” said Lori Cox, Associate Dean of Workforce and Community Education. “With opportunities across multiple industries, attendees can explore options, ask questions, and take meaningful steps toward employment.”
Employers represent a wide range of industries, including healthcare, law enforcement, manufacturing, banking, education, and social services.
Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and dress professionally, as some employers may conduct on-the-spot interviews.
