GREENVILLE – A DUI charge against a Carmi man stemming from a November incident in Bond County has been dismissed.

Seventy-year-old Stephan J. Heath appeared in Bond County Court Monday. He was charged with DUI and Illegal Stopping/Standing/Parking after reportedly stopping the bus he was driving in the middle of the road in Bond County while returning students from the Carmi-White County/Bloomington Central Catholic volleyball game on Nov. 10.

Online court records show he did plead guilty to the illegal stopping charge and paid a $253 fine.
