GALATIA – IDOT says Illinois 34 west of Galatia will be closed from West End Road to Ebenezer Road this weekend for culvert replacements.

The closure, weather permitting, will start Friday at 6 p.m. with the roadway reopening by 6 a.m. Monday. McFarland Road will remain open for traffic crossing Illinois 34.

A posted detour using Illinois 149, 37 and 13 will be in place to help you get around the closure.
