METROPOLIS – A West Frankfort woman was recently arrested after Metropolis Police responded to Harrah’s Casino after learning she reportedly stole items out of a wallet she found on the floor.

Police say on Sept. 22, they met with Illinois Gaming officers and took 35-year-old Shawna R. Williams into custody. She was charged with Theft.

Police searched Williams and found meth and drug paraphernalia in her possession. She was also charged with the drug offenses.

Williams was booked into the Massac County Detention Center.
