Franklin County Sheriff Kyle Bacon says 45-year-old Amanda L. Dooley is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both charges are felonies. She is lodged in the Franklin County Jail.

Benton Police stopped Dooley and requested a K-9. A sheriff’s office K-9 unit arrived and the K-9 made a positive alert after conducting a free air sniff outside of Dooley’s vehicle.

The vehicle was lawfully searched by police. An amount of substance was recovered that field tested positive for the presence of meth. Other controlled substances were also found.
