CARBONDALE – Carbondale Police say a pedestrian was recently stuck by a vehicle in the 400 block of East Walnut Street.

Officers responded to the scene around 1:50 a.m. Saturday. The victim was taken by ambulance to the emergency room for non-life-threatening injuries resulting from the crash.

During the investigation, officers learned a silver four-door car with dark windows struck the victim, who was walking in the roadway. The driver left without providing help or leaving her information. It is likely that the suspect vehicle had noticeable damage.
