CARMI – The City of Carmi and Carmi Chamber of Commerce reminds area residents about Trick or Treat opportunities in Carmi on Oct. 31.

First, Trick or Treat hours will run from 4-8 p.m. Please only visit homes with a porch light on during this time.

Second, the City of Carmi and Carmi Chamber of Commerce will be holding a Trunk or Treat behind Carmi City Hall, located at 225 E. Main St., from 5-7 p.m. As of this time, participants include Carmi Chamber of Commerce, City of Carmi, Carmi Police Department, Carmi Fire Department, Centerville Ripsnorters 4-H Club, Egyptian Health Department, Ferrell Hospital Carmi Family Medicine, McDonald’s, Walmart and White County 4-H Federation.

There are several churches and businesses also hosting trunk or treat or trick or treat hours. Information on those events may be found on the City of Carmi smartphone app available for free on iTunes or the Google Play Store.
