MCLEANSBORO – The Hamilton County Board has a busy agenda for tonight’s meeting.

Besides hearing reports from county departments, the Board is expected to receive a letter of resignation from Hamilton County EMA Director Nathan Taylor effective at the end of next month, agree to renew the contract with Hamilton County Ambulance Service as the current contract expires Nov. 16, discuss with possible approval displaying the Fiscal Year 2024 Hamilton County Budget, discuss using excess tax funds out of the 1 percent Safety Tax for the support of fire protection in Hamilton County and review the list of items and set a date for the county surplus sealed bid auction.

Tonight’s meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the courtroom at the courthouse in McLeansboro.
