BENTON – A Benton man led Benton Police on a foot chase after officers responded to the 300 block of North Buchanan Street on a report of a theft Saturday afternoon.

According to a Benton Police report, officers arrested 28-year-old Kyle J. Kujawa for Theft and Criminal Damage to Property.

During the course of the arrest, Kujawa fled on foot and was quickly apprehended. Kujawa resisted arrest and was taken into custody. He was also charged with two counts of Resisting a Peace Officer,

Kujawa was taken to the Franklin County Jail.
