WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Mike Bost announced Tuesday that he will be making a trip to the U.S.-Mexico border at Laredo, TX beginning Thursday. The congressman will be their until Saturday.

As chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, Bost organized the three-day oversight trip to meet with military veterans now serving on U.S. Border Patrol and study security conditions at one of America’s busier border crossings.

“After taking the gavel as chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, it was one of my top priorities to perform much-needed oversight of President Biden’s failures at the southern border,” said Bost. “That’s why I’ll be heading to Laredo, Texas, this week to meet with the dedicated men and women who are protecting our communities from illegal immigration, crime, and dangerous drugs. I look forward to hearing firsthand what they need to combat this crisis now.”
