Tracy Lawrence continues to give back.
The “Find Out Who Your Your Friends are” singer and his Mission: Possible organization recently donated $430,000 among 12 different non-profit organizations that support homeless individuals in middle Tennessee, according a video he posted on YouTube.
In the video, the country star can seen hand-delivering checks to the organizations.
“So, just to give a little insight into what we’ve done today – we’ve been to 12 different organizations,” he said in the video. “We’ve given donations to each and every one of them. Over our 12 that we picked for this year. It’s been fascinating to go through and hear their different stories and the motivation behind why they started doing what they do. The difference and similarities between the two.”
The money was raised during the charity’s second Mission Possible Celebrity Classic Golf Tournament in Nashville, Tennessee, with Lady A’s Charles Kelley, Jake Owen, Jordan Davis, HARDY, ERNEST, Mitchell Tenpenny and others helping raise the funds.
Mission: Possible was launched in 2006, raising over $800,000 with the golf tournaments. An annual Turkey Fry and concert event with the charity has raised more than $600,000 for Nashville Rescue Mission, fried 6,4000 turkeys, and provided 90,000 meals to the hungry in middle Tennessee.
