Oasis Powersports Celebrates Grand Opening in Marion

Oasis Outdoors – Powersports celebrates it’s ribbon cutting ceremony during it’s grand opening Saturday, August 13 in Marion.

MARION – The Black Diamond family of businesses celebrated the opening of Oasis Outdoors – Powersports, located in the former Toys “R” Us building in Marion over the weekend.

Toys “R” Us closed its Marion location in March 2018. The building sat vacant except for a seasonal, Halloween pop-up store. Now Oasis Powersports is bringing much bigger toys to that familiar location.

“Oasis Outdoors – Powersports offers a huge selection of ATVs, watercrafts, side-by-sides, dirt bikes and more from well-known national manufacturers like Yamaha, Kawasaki, Can-Am, Arctic Cat and Sea-Doo,” Randy Pace, Oasis Outdoors – Powersports General Manager said.

The Marion Chamber of Commerce hosted a special after-hours Ribbon Cutting and Open House on Friday for business leaders in the community. Guest speakers included Marion Chamber President Jared Garrison, Marion Mayor Mike Absher, Oasis Outdoors Owners Rodney Cabaness and Shad Zimbro, Oasis Powersports General Manager Randy Pace and Oasis Lawn and Garden Operating Partner Rich Huskey.

Grand Opening festivities continued all weekend-long with food, fun, giveaways and specials. Kids were able to pet alpacas and test their ATV driving skills on a special course. Those present could also enter to win an ATV.

“The fun starts here at Oasis Outdoors – Powersports. From the casual rider to the weekend warrior, to the competitive racer, we have it all,” Pace explained.

Oasis Outdoors- Powersports is open seven days a week.
