Local students were recently selected as McDonald’s Agriculture Scholarship Award recipients.
Cheyenne Lynch from Coulterville, Morgan Young from Benton, and Halley Kocher from West Salem were each awarded a $500 scholarship toward their agriculture studies. Lynch and Young will attend Southern Illinois University – Carbondale and Kocher will attend Murray State University to study agriculture this Fall.
Local McDonald’s Owner/Operators including Stephanie Bishop, Larry Lovelace, John and Mary Moreland, Michael Moreland, Brad Short, and Tina Short partnered to honor the recipients. They said they are excited to support the future of agriculture with the scholarship.
