Morgan Wallen went on a shopping spree for a cause on December 12, spending $20,000 on presents at a Memphis, Tennessee Walmart for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.
According to a video posted to The Salvation Army Memphis Facebook page, the “More Than My Hometown” singer and his team spent several hours filling 32 shopping carts with toys, bicycles and clothes, set to be donated to 200 children.
“For me growing up, my parents, they always made sure that I had presents under the tree,” Wallen said. “I know that all kids are not as fortunate to have that same experience. I got to partner up with The Salvation Army and Walmart to make a whole lot of kids happy this Christmas. I hope we get to do it again next year.”
