Carrie Underwood is back at number one. Underwood’s new album, “Cry Pretty,” released September 14th, raced to the number one spot on the Billboard 200 chart, marking the biggest debut in the genre since Luke Bryant’s 2015 album Kill the Lights released in August of that year. The release marks Underwood’s fourth release to hit number one on the charts breaking a four-way tie between herself, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn for female country artists. Pretty good company, we’d say! You can check out more on this historic release at tasteofcountry.com, and you can listen to the lead single from Cry Pretty, “Love Wins” right here.
