Carbondale Woman Pleads Guilty to First Degree Murder

A Carbondale woman has pleaded guilty to a murder that happened back in August. Jackson County State’s Attorney Michael Carr says in court yesterday, Lauren Stinde admitted to being involved in the murder of Robin Stief. Carr says Tiesha Anderson and Robert Dennis are also facing charges of first-degree murder. Stiefs body was found in a wooded area off Main Street in Carbondale on August 30th. Stinde is facing at least 20 years in prison and her sentencing is scheduled for February 1st, 2017.
