The city of Marion now has an approved city nuisance ordinance that has been updated and revised. At yesterday’s city council meeting, Marion leaders agreed to an all-in-one ordinance that covers neglected cars, equipment, and furniture. They also added an article that prohibits grass from being blown onto the roads. This will prevent storm drains from being clogged by piles of grass. The revised ordinance will be enforced by a code enforcement officer.
