We’ll soon see some new local businesses as Marion continues to grow. Several development projects were approved by officials at Monday nights city council meeting. Commissioners approved TIF Redevelopment Agreements for a Buffalo Wild Wings and Meyer Oil Company for a convenience store. A new fitness and health center located south of the Senior Citizens Center was also approved. Along with these businesses, a new IHop, Jimmy John’s, and Culver’s will be open for business in the near future. Mayor Bob Butler told WSIL TV that he expects many of the approved businesses to open by late summer.
