Governor Bruce Rauner has signed off on the Illinois Bath Salts Prohibition Act in an effort to put a stop to drug use. This new legislation that was signed by the Governor in Taylorsville on Monday aims to curb the number of people selling and consuming synthetic drugs. State’s Attorneys will now have more room to prosecute offenders under this legislation. Any retailer found selling bath salts could lose their retail license and face a class 3 felony charge.
