Since wrapping up his The Big Revival tour last summer, Kenny Chesney managed to record his upcoming album, Some Town Somewhere, as well as enjoy some well-deserved R&R.
As Kenny explains it, “I was in the studio a lot, I was busy making a record, but when I wasn’t in the studio I got to travel. It’s great to get off the bus so you don’t hear the generator all the time when you’re sleeping. and so I was able to travel a lot. As a lot of ya’ll would imagine I spent a lot of time with my butt sitting in the sand and the water hitting my toes and my ankles. I did a lot of that in the islands. I spent some time on my boat. I went to Italy which was a lot of fun.”
Chesney just released the video for his current single, Noise, exclusively on RollingStone.com. Describing how the video came to fruition, Kenny said, “(The video) captures what was rolling around in my head, even in the initial conversation when we were writing. It really captured what I was thinking and the essence of how we can get lost in this fog and be drowned by all of it.”
“Noise” is the debut single from Some Town Somewhere, which lands in stores on July 8th.
