Carbondale – A former Carbondale City Councilman is set to serve a year of probation after pleading guilty resisting arrest. According to court documents, former Councilman Lance Jack pleaded guilty to one charge of resisting a peace officer. The charge stems from an incident in February of last year when Jack was pulled over under suspicion of driving under the influence. As part of the guilty plea those charges were dismissed. In addition to the probation sentence Jack has been fined $500 dollars and will serve 100 hours of community service.
