Carbondale — Dwayne Dunn, the St. Louis man arrested in connection to Sunday’s fatal shooting in Carbondale is set for a preliminary hearing after appearing in court yesterday. According to court records, Dunn is being charged with reckless discharge of a firearm in connection to the shooting that claimed the life of Tim Beaty when a stray bullet struck him inside of his home. Dunn is alleged to have fired shots into the air during the party. He is being held on $500,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for April 21st. The shooting remains under investigation.
