St. Louis Man Arrested in Connection to Easter Shooting in Carbondale

Carbondale – A St. Louis man has been arrested in connection to the weekend shooting in Carbondale that claimed the life of a man sleeping in his home. According to a release from the Carbondale Police Department, Dwayne Dunn has been arrested in connection to the Sunday morning shooting that left one man injured and killed Timothy Beaty. Beaty was struck by a stray bullet inside of his home. Dunn is accused of shooting shots into the air during the party where the shooting took place. He is being held on charges of reckless discharge of a firearm. Police are still searching for two suspects. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Carbondale Police at 457-3200.
