Carbondale Man Sentenced in 2014 Armed Home Invasion

Carbondale – A Carbondale man is set to spend the next 65-years behind bars in connection to a 2014 break-in. According to court documents, Terrance Vinson was found guilty of armed robbery and home invasion in connection to an incident in December of 2014 when he, Melvin Sanford and one other broke into a home in the Cedar Court Trailer Park in Carbondale and held the occupants of the home, including a 9-year-old at gunpoint while stealing property. The property was traced back to a vehicle registered to Sanford and the three were arrested. Sanford will be sentenced at a future date.
