Harrisburg Teen Injured After Being Thrown From Truck Doing “Doughnuts”

Harrisburg – A Harrisburg teen is injured after being thrown from the back of a vehicle that was doing “doughnuts.” According to reports from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, Daniel Martineau was riding in the bed of a truck being driven by Grant Anderson while leaving class at Southeastern Illinois College. The two teens decided to do a “doughnut” in the middle of the Muddy and Lindale Road intersection, throwing Martineau from the vehicle. He was airlifted to an Evansville hospital with head injuries after landing in the middle of the road. The incident remains under investigation. Anderson was cited with reckless driving.
