Williamson County Authorities Warn Citizens of New Area Phone Scam

Williamson Co. — The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about another phone scam in our area. Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick says his office has received reports of a man calling himself Joseph Morrison of the Private Service Division of CSPO. The caller says he has official documents to deliver to you that involve a lawsuit over an unpaid debt, and he will ask you to contact his office at 321-319-3483. The sheriff says this call is a scam that attempts to intimidate people into paying a fee to avoid an imaginary lawsuit. He reminds you to never give personal or banking information to someone who has called you.
