Saline Co. Wreck Leaves One Dead, Two Others Severely Injured

Harrisburg — A young boy is dead two others are severely injured after a wreck in Saline County late Saturday night. According to State Police Reports, a vehicle being driven by Sarah Schell of New Burnside struck a culvert after leaving the roadway while driving on Southbound US 45. The vehicle flipped upon striking the culvert ejecting William Schell from the passenger seat. A 5-year-old boy in the backseat was pronounced dead on the scene and a 3-year-old girl was taken to a local hospital before being transferred to an Evansville hospital with severe injuries. William Schell was airlifted to Evansville with what are being called critical injuries. The cause of the accident remains under investigation
