Chicago Man Sentenced in Carbondale Heroin Case

Carbondale — A Chicago man is set to spend the next 6-years in prison after being pleading guilty to selling heroin in Carbondale. A report from Jackson County State’s Attorney Michael Carr’s office states that Marquan McGee pleaded guilty to two counts of delivering a controlled substance, including once to an undercover officer in September of 2014. In addition to his 6-year sentence, McGee will also serve 3-years of supervised release.
