Illinoisans Being Urged to Stay Out of The Ohio River

People in Illinois are being urged to use caution while swimming and boating in the state portion of the Ohio River. Illinois health officials warn there is a potential of toxins from blue-green algae being found in the water. Those planning on being in the river should be alert for water that looks like spilled green or blue-green paint or has greenish globs suspended in the water below the surface.
