Five Locals Facing Crack Distributing Charges

Five area residents are facing crack cocaine charges after making their initial court appearances. According to court records, Keno Farr, Roderick McClain and Jeffery Cain of Carbondale, along with Tommy Langston of Herrin and Tammy Whitton of Mt. Vernon are all accused of conspiring to distribute crack cocaine between October of 2014 and July of this year in both Jackson and Williamson Counties. They are currently being held without bond. If convicted, each could face up to 40-years in prison.
