Plenty of stuff in Country to look forward too soon.

Kinky Friedman will be kicking off October’s new releases with his first album in 40 years. The Loneliest Man I Ever Met follows up 1976′s Lasso From El Paso and is set to hit the streets on Oct. 2.

Oct. 9, three more new country records will hit store shelves:
Jana Kramer‘s Thirty One has already garnered plenty of buzz thanks to her single “I Got the Boy,” but fans will be able to get their hands on the singer-slash-actress’ full sophomore disc that day.
Toby Keith‘s 35 MPH Town, his 18th record, featuring lead single “Drunk Americans,” will finally be revealed
Josh Thompson‘s Change: The Lost Record Vol 1, the first in a two-EP series will be out.

The Charlie Daniels Band is releasing a 14-track live album and DVD, Live at Billy Bob’s Texas, on Oct. 16, and don’t miss out on country artist Stoney LaRue‘s new album Us Time, a collection of his fan-favorite songs and popular covers, it will debut on the same day.
