Olmstead Woman Involved in Police Search Turns Herself In

Michelle Hamel-Baker, the Olmstead woman wanted in connection to a July hit-and-run is in custody. The Union County Sheriff’s Office says that she turned herself in to Pulaski County authorities yesterday after missing a court appearance last week. Hamel-Baker was involved in an accident near Anna on July 5th that left six injured. She allegedly left the scene of the accident, and is also facing charges for driving without insurance or a valid driver’s license.
