Carbondale Man To Spend 4 Years in DOC for Heroin Charges

Samuel Scott of Carbondale is set to spend the next 4-years behind bars after pleading guilty to delivering heroin in Jackson County. According to Jackson County State’s Attorney Michael Carr, Scott plead guilty last week in relation to an April incident in which a drug task force informant received the drug from Scott. In addition to the 4 year sentence, Scott will also server 2-years of mandatory supervised release.
