Carterville Pharmacy Found to be Operating Without License

A Carterville Pharmacy is closed after Carterville Police found that it was operating without a license. According to police reports, a warrant was executed Tuesday at Tri-C Pharmacy had it’s licensed revoked in July after it was found that owner and pharmacist Kristi Schulmeister had violated the Illinois Controlled Substances act, and had been operating on a suspended license. Criminal charges are being reviewed by the Williamson County State’s Attorney’s office. The pharmacy has posted signs outside stating that the closure is permanent.
