Second Man Sentenced in 2014 Death of James Morrison

Travis Turner of Dongola is set to spend the next 20-years behind bars for his role in the 2014 death of James Morrison. Turner pleaded guilty to Second Degree Murder. He was involved in the beating death of James Morrison at a party at Morrison’s Anna home in April of 2014, along with Jessie Bell, who was sentenced last week to 20-years as well. Both men were originally charged with first degree murder, but took plea deals.
