Former Carterville Band Director Found Guilty on Inappropriate Recording Charges

Todd Norrington, the former Carterville High School Band Director accused of taking inappropriate videos of a teenage girl has been found guilty. A Jackson County jury laid out the verdict Friday, charging Norrington with a Class Three Felony. Norrington was accused of using his cell phone to take videos through a 14-year-old girls clothing at a store in Carbondale last June. A sentencing date has been set for September 15th. Norrington faces a 2 to 5 year sentence.
