As of today… LITTLE BIG TOWN’s “Girl Crush” has topped the “Billboard” Hot Country Songs chart for 11 straight weeks . . . which makes it the longest-running Number One song by a group. It broke the record held by The Browns. Their song “The Three Bells“ was #1 for 10 weeks in 1959. Wow! Well done Little Big Town. It may have had a rough start with a controversy that proved to be mostly fabricated. The song’s success, however, is an undeniable fact, and this week, “Girl Crush” spends a record-breaking 11th week in the Number One spot on Billboard‘s Hot Country Songs chart.
