A preliminary autopsy in the death of Christopher man Steven Berkley show that drugs may be to blame for the man’s sudden death on Sunday. According to a report from Franklin County authorities, officers were called to a home on Egyptian Drive early Sunday morning for a man in need of a psychiatric evaluation. When police arrived and secured the area, they found Berkley in what is being called a clinical excited delirium. Berkley was hospitalized and died shortly after due to fluid in his lungs. The final cause of death will be released upon the completion of a toxicology report, which could take up to six weeks.
