Two Carbondale Men Arrested on Gun Charges

Shorron Chambers and Derrick Farmer, both of Carbondale are being charged in connection to a recent weapons investigation. According to the Carbondale Police Department, officers were called to the 800 block of East Grand Avenue on June 13 to a report of a man pointing a gun at a large group of people. When officers arrived they found Chambers and Farmer in a vehicle leaving the area, and arrested the men. The pair are being charged with unlawful use of a weapon and possession of a weapon without a firearm owners identification card.
