Jarrod Rudder Murder Trial finally underway

The murder trial of Jarrod Rudder, the Elkville man accused of killing his girlfriend’s two-year-old son in 2012 is underway in Jackson County. Rudder was arrested in April of 2012 after he allegedly swung two-year-old Michael Pulliam by the arm, causing the child’s head to hit a lamp and the wall. The toddler was rushed to a St. Louis area hospital, but was pronounced dead of a brain hemorrhage shortly after. Rudder is charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
