Farnsworth sentenced to spend the next 12 years in prison

William Farnsworth of Coulterville is set to spend the next 12 years in prison after being sentenced in the 2014 death of Jeffery Harris in rural Randolph County. Farnsworth, who was found guilty in April, was arrested in November of last year after shooting and killing Harris with a shotgun during an argument. Farnsworth will receive credit for time already spent in jail, and will serve 2 years of probation upon his release.
